Future So Bright...

This is now my new favorite snap shot of Eloise.

Again an entire month has passed by almost and I'm just now posting! But here are a few things Ellie's been up to lately:
1) speaking - favorite words "Ball" and "Dog" (everything is a ball or a dog)
2) she can point to her bellybutton, eyes, ears, nose and mouth
3) Pointing - to me or Willie when I say momma/dada - points to the i touch when she wants to hear music (then she busts out her latest dance moves) - points to her books to read.
I'd say we are pretty good on the pointing thing, however, we are still working on our signs.
She will throw herself at the refrigerator though when she wants milk or fruit (the girl eats an entire peach every day at least)

Catching Up - Summer Time

A dear friend just reminded me that I had not updated the blog in a while (Thanks Donna). Creating a new post has been on my to do list since Ellie's Birthday Party (over a month ago!). So here you go. Since the 1st Birthday we've been 1) having/planning baby showers for all of Ellie's new friends that are set to arrive this summer and fall 2) Lake Trips 3) Beach Trips...and there is still more to come. Plus we do have jobs that we still go to :) Hope you Enjoy!

but figured out that I liked the pool :)

Once I realized that the sand would not bite me it was pretty cool...

  The best thing about the beach was my beach bucket!

Eloise's First Birthday Party 5-22-11

On this coming Wednesday Eloise will officially be 1 year old. So this past Sunday we celebrated with almost everyone who helped us get here. Without a doubt we have the best family, friends, and neighbors that ever were. Each of you had part in getting us to HERE, so not only are we celebrating Eloise we are also celebrating you!

Eloise Birthday Party Slide Show

Eloise's New Dance Moves..."Mary Had a Little Lamb"

Last week we were singing and all of a sudden Eloise started moving her body in ways we have not seen before. It took some time but we finally realized what she was doing...dancing. You'll have to pardon the music, but it is one of the funniest things I've seen her do. Enjoy!
